Unsusally for yours truly, i decided to have a chilled night out in my area around Dizingoff center.
A word thrown from my luvly roommate about her friend that had some good catches in a place called "Otto", meaning CAR in hebrew.
I have already been invited to the otto last summer from my friend Natalie, which always gives me the inside scoop on openings, but since then i never heard the name come up again. Since the option for pick-up was mentioned, i decided to grab my brother, a newbie to the city, and head out to the place. We both live on very strict time schedules (we need to get up early in the morning for work/uni) we were "cindarelling" it and had to be back by midnight.

on the other side of RABIN SQUARE on no. 76 is a discree entrance to OTTO 76 folowing a simple nod hello (a guy and a girl that come around 10PM is easy entrance people). we head down the stairs into a sleek space. i like the different option of seating the place has; a mega in the middle, "mini bar" tables on one
side and wider sofa areas in the other and a second elevated bar which allows the hawk-eyes preditors to hunt for prey.

we head to the "play area", since we are two over-grown kids. there is a nice pac man machine and

and pinball and space odyssey if you're willing to part from 2ILS for a short thrill. we had a run on
pinball and was quickly bored. then headed to the wornout easy to play pool table where we played a free game since we were the first ones there, i think in real life you will have to give up around 10ILS but i guess it to be reasonable if you're playing in teams and your really drunk.

after winning the battle with my new founch technique, we head to one of the mini bar tables. on the menu there are nice tap beers, in reality there are less than nice beers. i wanted a coveted maccabi or boutique bear they have switching around but had to settle for gold star and my bro took a murphy.
they sell in pints and half pints and not in thirds or half a liter like most places do( i find it to be a new chique to make more money, but on the other hand, the half liter always looses fiz in the end so i guess if you take a pint +half for each it is reasonable). we paid around 50ILS for a pint of murphy's and half pint goldstar (a pleasant light lager which is the home brand and the most sold brand of beer in israe) i tried to enduce my brother to hit on the waiter, calling here name from the bill, which i thought to be a cool trick. he did not play along. for the more daring folk i recommed it as a good ice breaker!

we were surrounded by mostly men on the high end of their 30's and late 20's couples. we decide to go home although we liked the atmosphere the crowd was to old and not single enough.
